Taylor & Co 44/40

I just picked up a peace maker clone from Taylor & Co.
Perfect blueing and case hardened frame for $200.
Anybody know anything about these guns?
Who makes them, Uberti?
Are they worthy od CAS


I picked up, or put on layaway an 1862 Coltrep. and an 1858 Remington rep for $70 apiece
I was thinking of getting one of those conversion cylinders to shoot with.

Tomorro I'm taking my Randal and a Beretta down to work a trade for the .45 rifle and another .45 peace maker clone

Anybody interested in a range report.

Gun shot great, shooter couldn't see squat. Don't know if this CAS thing is for me.
Sights are too small and the eyes are too weak even with a 7.5" sight plane it all blurred together
