I just got dressed and ready to leave the house.

Left rear pocket, Spyderco Endure
Left front pocket, Spyderco Native
Right front pocket - an old Camillus boy scout knife
Key ring SAK cadet
Leatherman multi tools in the truck and at work

Weekends and special task days are sometimes different.I

How about you!

Full sized Benchmade Ascent with a combo blade (long discontinued but so comfortable in the hand that it's use - in whatever circumstances... is absolutely instinctive...). It's always on my person if I'm wearing any clothing at all... I learned some years ago not to trust any pocket clips - any blade I carry will be in my strong side front pocket... When you work out of a small skiff pocket clips are an invitation to losing whatever edged tool you're carrying....

Nearby backups? On my skiff a brand new full sized Griptilian and in my truck a full sized Al Mar Eagle (both with combo blades as well).

Going minimalist today.

When I step out the door to go feed the cattle, I'll have a little Dan Shelor drop point and a little Primble Stockman.

Later in the afternoon, when I dress to go to town, I'll drop the Dan Shelor and pick up a Benchmade 710. I don't necessarily plan to skin anything tonight in the city, when I'm out on a date, but you never know.

More than once, when invited out to dinner, the host has asked me to carve whatever bird or cut of meat she was serving, and the Benchmade from my pocket proved to be a more adept carver than anything available in the house. Few people keep good kitchen knives.

On normal winter days I tend to keep an axe, a chainsaw, and a set of heavy pruners in the tractor.

So..RIGHT NOW...isnt like must days. Today I am high in a hard soft maple overlooking a dry slough on opening morning of Illinois firearms deer season.
Attached to the shoulder strap of my safety harness is my favorite hunting knife, my Buck 105. In addition to that, I gave a cheap Remington branded large liner lock clipped in my front strongside pocket for quick access. I bought a cheap knife for my folder because I knew I would likely lose it in the woods. Of course...ten years later...I still have it.
Cell signal not good enough here in the boonies to load pics.
There's a Gerber machete in the pack of my ATV ..1/2 mile away.

Tidioute #14 Lick Creek Boy's knife. Finally cooled down and I can carry a 1095 blade without fear of surface rust appearing all over...

Before the advent of cell phones I’d read paper back book while sitting on deer stands. LOL. Wonder how many deer walked past. ;)

"Right now"? Nothing. Still chilling out in my sweats after a hard workout this morning, and an even harder one last night. Later this afternoon, I will have my bone handled Case trapper and my stag handled skinner and a multi tool. I will also be in a tree.

Just this dirty beat up 440C blade.

I can’t remember where I got it and I don’t even know who made it. Can’t find a “Woodsman” company so I assume that’s the model.

Just says 440C and China on the back. Been in my possession for probably 20 years or more and been riding in my pocket for 10. It’s my peal an orange beater knife.

Man, sounds like some of you guys carry enough iron to require industrial grade belts and suspenders. lol

I tend to minimize, even converted my front door lock to a keypad so I don't have to carry house keys.

A light, slim Leek is all I carry.

I just got up so...none. There's an Ithaca 37 and a Taurus .45 ACP in arms' reach where I sleep, so no need to wear a knife to bed. ;) In the bottom drawer of my night stand is a tanto, a Swiss AMT bayonet, a couple cheap medieval daggers, my Leatherman Charge Ti, and several other cheap combitools. (For when my older son visits, he's always losing them) Stored 5 feet from bed is a katana, a gladius, two Viking age swords, and a bokken. Another foot away is a bearded axe, a small throwing 'hawk, and a kukri.
The Gerber 06 I carry EDC is in the pocket of the pants I will be putting on in a few minutes.

I am on a work trip in Hawaii right this second. I have my trusty Mini Grip cliped to my right side pocket. I also have a Gerber Folder in my toiletry bag that is all metal. Put them in the checked bag when in motion.
