I have more 12ga presses than i need, 375 Reeding Two pacifics , And i have a old 20ga mec that i fitted 10ga floor plate on and sizer start final crimp tooling on.
Leaving me with a full set of 20ga Mec tooling old style chrome steel crimp station just sat in a tin on a shelf in the workshop. And gathering dust is a Texan L series single stage 12ga press, its similar to a mec but not same on the final crimp layout, now i never use this Texan i am sick and tired of constantly swamping from 10ga to 20ga on the mec and i thought about if i could convert the Texan to take the mec 20ga tooling.
Texan is kind of similar to Mec i heard say Texan got took to court by MEC for them being so similar but could be a load of old wives tales i dont know, but asking here any body done this or offer and things i should take intoi consideration here, is it even possible or indeed practical to convert this Texan. ?
