Depending on what I have going on that weekend, I may be able to make it down there.

is this place open to the public as a regular shooting range ? I live in san antonio, but did not know about this place...

It's much closer to you Brennan... I live off of 1604, but over towards I-35. Looks like a 25 minute drive for me. Closer than bullethole at least.

I doubt its available as a regular weekend shooting range though.

Speaking of the Bullet Hole, it was closed yesterday afternoon/evening.
Imagine my surprise when I arrived there to shoot a buddy's Ed Brown SF commander, and the range was closed.
:(
The world is conspiring against me!

bender,
You heading to one of the Fun Shows today?
I'm trying to decide if I should give the Live Oak show a try instead of Alzafar.

beaucoup,
Thanks for the heads up. I'll have to drag my family to that.

the Alzafar show is my favorite, but alas... no disposable money for guns & stuff for a while... :(

Haven't been to a Live Oak show in a couple years. It used to be not too good, but maybe with the monthly saxet whow temporarily suspended, the Live Oak show may get better.

I'll have to wait till the next alzafar show. I'm lucky that I live right in between both shows... a few miles one way to alzafar, a few miles the other way to Live Oak...

I've driven to Dietz a few times (24 miles) and found out the range was closed for some kind of competition... so, I know the feeling... doh !

I may take my son to that Sportsfest, thanks beaucoup !
