I've been searching for this gun in Duo-tone for over a month.

Today I went to the Austin Saxet Gun Show and saw 3 of them NIB.

Cigars for everybody! :D

They ship them pretty heavily oiled, so I'm going to spiff it up and hit the range tomorrow. I bought some .380 snap caps, and I'll be shooting a lot of TV bad guys tonight!

I still haven't decided on a holster, but that was another thread.

Regards,
ChickenHawk

Congrats! I've heard a lot of good things about the Bersas. It's a strong contender for my first handgun. :) Let us know how it goes at the range!

i've been wanting one of these for a while now. maybe i'll get one for Christmas. (MoNsTeR, are you out there? are you reading this? )

ChickenHawk,

i got this Duo-Tone Bersa firestorm, i think basically its the same pistol as the thunder except for the grips. Anyway nice pistol and a straight shooter

I love mine (also a duo tone). 100% reliability (it has honestly never failed to fire, extract, feed, etc), good accuracy (the fixed barrel helps), fairly comfortable (recoil is mild, though the design of the "beavertail" doesn't work very well for me and after 50-100 rounds starts to cut the top of the knuckle/joint between my thumb and hand- some filing would fix it but I haven't gotten around to it), well made, and inexpensive. This is one of the guns that I am thinking about getting a spare (probably just a little different, either with the Firestorm name or in blue, to "justify" it to myself).

I love my Bersa. It's reliable, accurate and fun.

They're putting internal locks in the Firestorm now?

CHICKEN .......you son-of-a-gun!!!! :p

Good on ya dude .. and hey ... that pic is one I took of mine so - it's kinda familiar (copyright will only cost ya the price of my new P-3AT, when it comes!!:p :p :D :D :neener: )

Talkin of which .. my son and I had a pleasant if rather short session at range this afternoon .... shot one hell of a lot in the limited time we had ....... including Mr Thunder!! We both emptied several mags at about 20 feet into the paper and ... most were straight in the black, even fired fast. Only thing I had happen once .... the first shot fired D/A .... didn't!.

I think tho I had neglected to check on the one in the tube having the slide fully seated .. my fault I expect and not the gun's as it was faultless thereafter.

Enjoy yours fella and come back and gloat after the shoot .... I shall be disappointed and surprised if you are not delighted with this lil puppy!
:)

I'm not surprised to read all these good reports. I've been dry-firing this thing all night and I love the trigger and the fit of the gun in my hand.

I'll post a report after going to the range tomorrow.

P95Carry, I wasn't positive, but I thought that might be your picture! :p

It isn't the side with the serial number visible, so I just think it's a great pic. :neener:

See y'all tomorrow.

ChickenHawk
