"Fictional" means guns that are NOT just versions of real guns, like Dirty harry's .44, or the hand-held M-134 Minigun in Predator. I'm talking guns that resemble nothing that has ever really been made. For my money, the gun from the movie eXistenZ has to be it. It has to be seen to be believed. Jude Law's characters eats the meat off the bones of weird, genetically engineered cretures served for dinner, then assembles the skeletons together into a weapon. Teeth from his own bridge are the bullets. It's also used (an important factor for verisimilitude) too!

Nightlord40k, lookout your nerd is showing :).
Always!

Dunno, kind of a tie between the BFG 3000 in Doom or the Powerguns from Hammer's Slammers.
Too bad there are almost no cannonical images of Col. Hammer's small arms, espescially Maj. Stueben's pistol.:(

Likewise, Gordan Dickson's Dorsai "spring" rifles, which are said to be completely non-metallic, using polymer springs to propell plastic slivers shaved from a solid block of "ammunition".

Which might actually be easier for H'wood prop departments than the three-barrel rotary powerguns, or the SMGs.

Allegedly, H'wood is very keen on a "bugless" Starship Troopers potential franchise, but, the fact that DD uses old Greek and Roman tales as a basis for the stories scares them away.
Believe it or not, there was a Saturday morning "Starship Troopers" animated series a few yeas ago which ran for 2 or 3 seasons. It was actually pretty good and followed the book a bit more closely than the film, IMO. The violence was only toned down slightly and both the Skinnies and Marauder suits featured prominently.

But now that I look closer, it looks like a Glock mod. I wonder if GLockStore carries it ?

The Glock G7 is my favorite. It’s porcelain. Doesn’t show up on x-ray scanners. Costs more than I make in a month.
