Have a nickled HiPo that is crawling up in value, so I hate to bang it up.
Had another HiPo with a relentlessly heavy trigger that is now gone.
Got a relatively early SA-35, and it has been great for fit and finish, and it shoots straight. It is back to the mothership with the extraction problems that are apparently common with early production. We'll see how good their CS actually is.
HiPos feel great in my hand, especially compared to other early double stacks, like a Smith M59.
The trigger is quite good, especially for a HiPo. (This last is puzzling, because the mechanism is both ingenious and simple; even if the sear motion changes direction 4 times)
BTW, the SA-35 is reputed to be a Turk, but they make great stuff.
For the OP, jump on that SA-35. They are worth having.
