There hasn't been a HAM radio or scanner thread in awhile so I thought I'd ask the question, what is the best value in new scanners? From reading I've done, it seems the Radioshack Pro 95 is starting to get pretty dated now, especially with the new digital. What do the amateur HAM radio/scanner/electronics people recommend for me? I'm looking for a nice handheld with alot of features. I'm looking for a quality, but highest value piece. In other words, the current CZ75 of handheld scanners.
I've been trying to find some good electronics forums, but nowadays it seems harder than ever to find anything on the internet. If anyone knows some good electronics forums that also cover things like radio equipment please tell me about them. Thanks.
