The Other 17's

I have a thread here about the 17HMR. I really like this round. In fact, I think I have been bitten by the 17 caliber bug.

I want to hear from members that have experience with centerfire 17 caliber cartridges. I know that the 17 Remington is a factory option. I also know that there are many 17 caliber wildcats. I reload, so I can fashion ammo for most cartridges.

So, if you have and/or use any 17 caliber, centerfire cartridge, please give me some feedback. I want to know the ups and downs of these rounds. I want to know what guns are available for them.

The original .17 Rem was notorious for fouling barrels within less than a box of ammo. I've read of a new version of the cartridge but haven't followed up as to "what's what".
