I had the opportunity to take this class under David this weekend. We at Tactical Response scheduled David to teach our annual inservice and we were not disappointed. "The Test" is a force-on-force class with human adversaries.
After an extensive safety briefing and description of the class procedures, we began running one scenario after another. Each scenario made the student think, and if he thought well enough and quickly enough, the scenario was definitely winnable. Each scenario was a real-life possibility, and after each one I came away thinking, "That really could happen."
As an instructor, David gave a lot of individual feedback and remediation if needed. The debriefs were informative and made us consider all the options of handling the scenarios we had just done.
