The trophy... the rifle and my new toy...

Some of you might remember that I won a 100 meter shooting event with my VZ a couple of weekends ago...

Well since my new camera arrived here are the pics..
The cup and the winning rifle in the foreground...







And my New toy: A Unique FMR built .260 Remington alongwith the silencer. The scope is a 6.5-20 Leopold with the Varmint reticle.



Ready for travel



Am still getting sighted in and working up loads. The expected accuracy is sub MOA provided I do my part. The barrel is a 26 inch 1 in 9 and I am still awaiting delivery of my Lapua 123gr Scenars. Its currently grouping 140 SMK's under an inch, around 41 grains of VV N160 and CCI BR2 primers.

Nice rifle and trophy! AFY, Can you tell us about the picture with the lovely couple in picture #4. And are those beer steins I see?

The couple are my wife's maternal great grand parents. And yes those are beer stiens from Belgium and are made of pewter.
