I don't post much these days, however, I feel the need to get this information our there as much as I can, and point out the critical flaws of the recently proposed terror watch list gun ban.

Problems with this idea:

1. Banning possession of firearms and ammunition to people who are only "Suspected" of being terrorists, is unconstitutional on its face. The 2nd amendment, and 5th amendments being the primary roadblocks.

2. The terror watch list works because it's secret, and it's inclusion criteria are secret so that terrorists cannot search the list and cherry pick members of their team to carry out attacks. If being on the watch list becomes a prohibitor, terrorists can screen themselves by attempting to purchase a gun, and being denied. So, this plan can actually help them stay under the radar.

3. The watch list is comprised of hundreds of thousands of people, alot of which have no connection to terror whatsoever, and even more who are there in error.

and probably the biggest flaw with this bill is the laughable "Appeal" provision included and praised by the Democrats as a way to get your rights back if you are mistakenly included on the watch list.

In the Feinstein bill, the "Quick and speedy appeals process" consists of suing the United States of America in federal court, and restricts the judge from being able to consider the full version of redacted documents. There is no way someone can support this bill, and steadfastly call themselves a freedom loving american.

No way.

The watch list is, at best, a list of people who may be suspected but the authorities don't have enough evidence to make an arrest, much less seek a conviction.

If the government can suspend a constitutional right based on a secret list of suspicions, it's no right at all.

They certainly aren't unforseen, we all see the slippery slope there and unconstitutionality of it. The problem is trying to pound it into the sheeple's heads. All some of them in fairy tale land know is that goonz R scary!

Maybe there needs to be a new list of those with warrants or wanted for questioning.
I've heard of this watch list and must say that it's troubling. We were scolded by BHO for putting a certain faith or region of origin on any sort of list but yet the Gov has no problem with a list that they can't even explain the method of placement or removal.

It doesn't matter how many lists you make, the fact is it will always be unacceptable to deny someone's Constitutional Right without due process in a court of law.

Remember all these laws they want to pass to "stop the bad people" without going through the justice system can easily be turned on any American citizen. And currently there is no way to even get off these lists not to mention no way to appeal a wrongful denial on a NICS background check (has been suspended for some time now for those who haven't been following it).

Sorry I wasn't clear enough, if we have people that constitute a threat they need to be arrested or deported. For to long we have relied upon a false sense of security that is promoted by the Gov.
Just read that we had almost 500,000 overstay their Visa's. How can we have peace and order with enforcement like that.
