Lots of great interest there. I was curious as to how the ACLU came in to be on the side of knife carriers.

The ACLU was vital in NY in helping to win for the victims of abuse of the gravity knife laws. So was the Legal Aid Society and Democratic state legislators(more than the Republicans in NY). Blows the mind when you find out that everything isn't black and white (or Red and Blue).
