It looks like macmac just didn't understand that folks have already seen this before and that his original thread wasn't closed because of his posting the information, but because of the stupid behavior Texasrifleman has pointed out.
Let's be a little tolerant and help him out like Zundfolge did and Justin already has.
We know the law provides some protection and that the amendment gave gunowners some additional protection that didn't exist before Katrina, but we also know that you may have to educate your local authorities on it and you may even need to get a lawyer to force the issue for antis.
What we should be doing is what we did in Tennessee, put our own state version in place prohibiting the Governor and state officials from suspending any 2A rights during a natural disaster. Now THAT is the way to make things like this work. Target the local level and push for inclusion of protections like this.
