Thoughts on RMR bullets??

Looks like I made a good choice. Looks like bds has done more testing than I probably will. I don't competition shoot but I do usually put 200-400 rounds downrange per trip. Usually 3 or 4 weeks a month, so I go thru alot of bullets lol. I can't wait to get loading again.

I've been very pleased with the bullets I have gotten from rmr. .380 when he had 100 grain. Now to try out the 95 grain. 9mm in 124 grain rn fmj. And 45acp in 230 grain rn fmj. Next up I would like to order some of the 9mm 124 grain multi purpose to try out. I'm sure they will perform as well as the rest.

There bullets are great. Their once fired brass is mighty fine too.

Jake should be proud. They are setting the bar very high.

Happy with all the bullets I have purchased for RMR.
Haven't kept track but 20K+.My pistols prefer 124/125s over 115s
so I am using the MPR HP.
The 124gr FN FMJ also shot great for me.
Fast shipping, quality product, great people to do business with.

Great bullets at good prices along with quick shipping and top notch customer service. RMR is definitely an outfit to avoid unless you want to be treated well

I was looking to buy a couple thousand bullets and seen this place a while back. What's everyone's thoughts? I'm looking at 115gr RN jacketed and the 230gr RN jacketed. I've been running plated but with these prices, I can get jacketed for dang near the same if not maybe even cheaper! Are they pretty consistent on weight and size? Good to go? Thanks for any replies.
I have gone exclusively to RMR for 115 FMJ, Ive shot thousands of them and have probably 5000-6000 more on hand. They are the best price around and we have a discount code for Highroad members.

I'll give another positive shout out for RMR, not that it's necessary.

I use their bullets almost exclusively. I have probably 15k through my Shadow 2. A mix of plated and jacketed, though now I only buy the jacketed.

I recently acquired a CZ Czechmate, and having owned many CZs over the years, I knew the throat would be short. I had some concerns about OAL and potential pressure issues loading major with the RMR 124gr JHP. I emailed Jake about ordering a couple hundred to try, and he responded immediately - 'buy 1k, it's cheaper, and if they don't work out, return what's left for a refund.' Doesn't get much better than that for CS.

I was able to load them safely and used the entire 1k. I also bought 1k of the Precision Delta 115gr JHP, because at the time RMR wasn't making them in that size. I wanted to see the difference between the two weights under a major load. Personally, I prefer the 124, but that's a debate for a different thread.

I've also reamed the throat of my barrel, so I can now load to 1.16 using some different powders that fill the case more than say WAC. I don't think it was necessary to modify the barrel, but I'd rather play in the safer end of the pool.

Bottom line is this, on Friday I ordered another 12K of the RMR 124Gr JHPs. Which should hopefully get me through half of this year's shooting season.

Not sure my mail lady is going to speak to me again after this week though.

I sure my Post Person sees my RMR packages and goes "oh no not Him AGAIN!":)

Last time instead of sticking them in the Community mailbox with a key,
they delivered them to my door on a hand truck.
100lbs worth give or take.:D

I'm gonna need one of you young guys to stop by when I order again. I'll need somebody to carry the bullets to the reloading room. :)

Have a blessed day,

Leon

just to echo all the above: good products , good shipping , but also impressive is the Jake seems to treat his customers well even if you only buy 100pcs or 5k pcs he actually values his
customers and takes the time to deal with them , example I have had questions and sent him a PM on this site and he has replied back every time quickly , you just do not find that kind
of customer service on a personal level especially from the owner anymore and for that reason I have now decided to buy 90% of my projectiles from RMR ,

Just bought RMR bullets for the first time. I got some 124 gr. plated RN for my 92FS. From what I've read, RMR is an awesome company to deal with.
I'm just curious, why did you buy the plated RN 124gr bullets when their RN 124gr FMJ bullets are the same exact price?

I'm not saying you are wrong, I'm just wondering why? Do they shoot better in your gun?

I use the 124 jhp bullets, love them, now just waiting for them to make 180 grain jhp for my 10mm and it will be one stop shopping

I bought many plated bullets for a long time. They are as good as jacketed. (right?)
Then I found RMR jacketed priced as low as plated. They ARE jacketed!

I'd also like to know if/when Jake is bringing back the in house, 69gr, 3 Gun, .223 bullets. I grabbed a couple K of those last year but haven't seen them since.

Jake will probably see this and answers or you can send him a PM to be sure he doesn't miss your question.

I am dedicated to sending out the best stuff I can. Which means I can't give you an exact timeframe of when they will be ready to sell. But, I can say we are making progress. Unfortunately new tooling takes a lot of time to make.

I recently bought 1000 plated 357 HPs from them. They seem to be good stuff. The ones I ordered were rated for 1400 fps max, which is pretty decent for plated bullets.

shipping was a bit slow, but they just got back from Shot Show. They state clearly in a banner that catching up on orders would take a few days, so be patient with them, and your lead will show up.

Excellent, looking forward to their return. I still have some left, along with plenty of the 62's and 64's (which aren't in house but from you).

Not sure when I'll get a chance to try these as I am still pretty well stocked up from when Bullets.com went out of business.

My question to those that have used them all has anyone noticed any difference between the RMR, Berry's and Xtreme bullets or can the same weights be interchanged w/o a lot of hassle? Such as I have found I can interchange 115gr or 124gr RN 9mm Berry's and Xtreme with no noticeable difference. Same goes for the 200gr 45acp bullets.
