My contribution: Uberti 1848 Whitneyville Hartford. Just acquired it a few months ago, but it has the trigger and bolt screws showing on the right side of the frame. :(

I would have much preferred the earlier ones that Uberti offered:

I got it to remind me that it is a chunk to carry around as compared to an Army or a Navy:

I really like the BOOM when I touch it off!

Ok, so, I removed a bunch of off topic noise that was in serious threat of derailing the thread. If y'all want to argue start your own thread. And if you do, do so in a polite manner without the insults and childish bickering.
What did I miss?
I see that noelf2 stated that one of Goon’s guns was out of time....lol
Those are some serious “early bolt drop” rings but I’m sure that he eventually got it worked out.... :)

Yep, those were my first ever conversions and they've been my test beds for all kinds of things that worked and a lot that didn't!! They are definitely too fun though!

Great thread guys!

Hoof, I love the "Carbine" model. Very hard to find. Your's and 45 Dragoon's cartridge conversions are awesome! I'd love to get one of mine done one day.

Speaking of mine, here they are. 3rd Models, both ASM guns. The weathered gun is a shoulder stock model. It has the recoil shield cutouts, extra frame screws and the 3 leaf rear sight. Love shooting them.

Hey Jackrabbit1957, actually, there are 3 of those pins! The 2 you see and one on the rear side of the frame. These are what I call "interference pins". They rest on flats ground on the trigger and bolt screwpins as well as the shank of the hammer screw. They are finished flush with the frame surface so that the trigger guard and the back strap hold them in place. This assures that the action screws CAN'T loosen during a match. No matter how many times you cycle the action, they will never move out of place! It gives the cowboy shooter as well as the casual shooter confidence that the revolver will always be the same (action wise). Cycle it from now till Kingdom comes and the screws will be right where they need to be !! (Also proof that my revolvers are test-beds!!)
