im having a hard time finding a threaded barrel for a ruger p95dc.im also looking for a threaded barrel adapter for it. I was wondering can I use another threaded barrel from a different gun such as the 1911, and the Beretta because both guns an the Ruger are almost alike especially the 1911. If u can help it’s very appreciate.
Thanx

The Ruger P95, 1911, and Beretta (M9/92, I'll assume) have barrels that are nothing alike.

Historically most guns don’t have threaded barrels readily available. The only threaded barrel adaptors I’ve ever heard of go from one size thread to another. You can’t just stick the adaptor on any barrel and make it work. Most semi-autos have the end barrel right at the end of the slide and this limits what can be done.

I don’t know much about the Ruger P95 models but i’m guessing finding a threaded barrel is not realistic. A quick search online reveals a couple of threads over the years with people asking about barrel options with no replies or people who threaded the factory barrel and could never get the gun to function correctly.

You can buy a new gun with a threaded barrel for much less than what the tax stamp and a 9mm suppressor costs.
