Simple question really - is it legal to have a threaded barrel in WA state, and use said firearm, if no suppressor is attached?

I'm curious: does any state ban threaded barrels? Most flash hiders and/or muzzle brakes attach that way, even if they are brazed on for "permanent" attachment.

New Jersey...

Well, I take that back, they are only banned in certain situations, though mainly, those are the situations when you'd have a threaded barrel...

From what I read, California allows you to own a threaded barrel, but it is a felony for that barrel to be installed, mounted, etc. on a pistol. Not sure about rifles.
