Tokarev TT-33 slide locking back with each shot

What would cause the slide of a TT-33 to lock back after each shot, and how do I fix it?

mine did that with one magazine but not the other magazine...... the one magazine had a bent follower... I bent it to look like the other one that worked and no more problem.

Hmm. I'll check that out.

check your clip on the other side of the slide release (the take down clip)
either it's loose or not on, and that's what provides the spring to keep the slide lock down.

Magazine spring may be inserted backwards.
Large loop to the follower, small loop to the floorplate.

agh. the takedown clip is loose as hell. where can i buy a new one?
