Does anyone know where I can get a Tool Head Stand for a Dillon SDB?

Dillon only makes them for the 550 and up models, I guess they dont see the SDB market as worthy?

If you know of a way to convert the 550 stands or have a lead on anytype of SDB toolhead stand please share.

thanks, Lefty

I don't know if you're handy or equipped for light woodwork, but I'd look at the stand for the 550, then see what you need to support your SDB toolheads, sketch up a quick plan and make what you need out of plywood or whatever for the base and dowels for support. Paint it blue and call it good to go.

yea unfortunately i am not that handy or equipped, was hoping to buy something or see if someone makes it.

thanks,

The SD is the only press without a hole in the center, all of the stands they sell holds them from this center hole.

I solved the problem buying an SDB for each cartridge, currently two. The presses hold the dies nicely. :)

I do have a third set of dies and they are stored in a box. The SDB is small enough that you can do that with the die plate if you do not have a powder measure.

I cannot say I have seen a commercially availble die plate stand either.

I use the Akro bins that are sold with the press. The small size holds one toolhead, dies, shell plate, and locator pins. Since I've only got the one powder measure for the press, this works. If someone's got better, I'm looking too.

Would like to readdress this topic and see if anyone has come across a Dillon SDB ToolHead holder??

I don't have stands for my 550 tool heads. I just lay them on their side. And the conversion kits go back in their cases.
