Top shot show on History

I think both Ashley and George are pieces of crap and embarrassed that they represent or represented our country as military personal.

There is nothing honorable about them. I hope George gets the axe next.

In fact the way they all went after Jaime in the episode before last was a testament to their character. Then George has the gall to say on this episode he always votes based on performance? What a lying sack of crap he is. People like that have no business wearing a United States Service uniform. Its not that I am a Jaime lover its more that I hate people like George and those that are too weak to stand up to people like him.

Almost forgot, as far as the show goes, I think it is great that they portray the shooting sports in such a positive light, good for them and keep up the good work.

If I had a rifle unexpectedly break in half on me, it would throw off my shooting for sure!

I've never seen that happen with an FN-FAL, didn't realize it was so easy to do.

His weapon familiarization didn't take, and he mistook the takedown lever for the safety.
I think I prefer the M14 and M16 takedown methods, if it's that easy to mess up and disable your FAL under stress.

Is Brian left handed? I think I did the same thing with an FN/FAL, and I'm left handed. Not sure if that what threw me off or not; it's been a long while ago.

I am watching and I still find the show entertaining.
However, I think they should reformat it for next season.
Each challenge is worth $5k to the winner.

The winner and the worst performer have a shoot off in the elimination round. Winner of the elimination round gets the Bass Pro (or who ever is putting up a trinket) card as well. Loser of the elimination round goes home.

Last person standing in the competition is TOP SHOT and gets What ever the big prize money is.

No more voting (other than with your performance.)
No more alliances.
No more teams.
No more crappy ass shooters hiding amongst friends due to common race, military service, panty colors, etc.
No more trying to win immunity like a bunch of freaking toddlers.

Bring it, every time or GO HOME. Constant pressure to perform. And MORE SHOOTING. Why do I need to see a bunch of grown men lounging in a house on their beds chatting like school kids? ***!

Rant off.

Lawboy, I like your approach for the most part. But why would the winner go to elimination?? I would say send the worst two individuals to elimination for each challenge. If it is "Top Shot", there is no reason to punish a contestant for winning by sending him or her to elimination. It just doesn't make any sense.

Yeah, if you send the winner and the loser to elimination you're just going to encourage creative sandbagging.

I think you fellas are right no more teams just a giant free for all. The two worst go to eliminations and on to the next competition.

Saw the preview for next Tuesday's shoot... The one where they are suspended very high, sorta looked dangerous!

I found it interesting how well everyone shot the Hi Power, while at the same time the shooting with the Sig was mediocre at best. Yet, the Hi Power was chosen because everyone would be unfamiliar with it. That Hi Power is a hell of a pistol!
Found that interesting as well. I was wanting to get one of those, and that show kind of cemented that desire.

I wish they woulda shot the AK-47 or AK-74... Would have been cool, anyone know if they shot one last year?

Heck, I kinda like the drama and the voting aspect.

I remember in our platoon, the guys were all excellent shooters. We each had our good days and bad.

This show kinda reminds me of Ranger school: you had to do the physical things, but then each member had to vote for someone to be kicked out. Lack of trust and not "having my six" are very important.

I agree, I think Chris has got this one. Then again, Jamie looks alright on the shotgun. Should be good a good elimination.

Well that sucks. I missed the entire competition. Bad storms here in central Arkansas and satellite went out just as they were hoisting Chris up with the crane. It starts working again when they're going to the elimination range. All I know about the competition is that George won and Gunnie shot like crap. I did see the elimination round. I'd like to give that a try. Looked fun.

Oh well.

Something tells me they really wanted Chris to make it to the Final Four. To switch from the Glock to a shotgun? And out of a moving vehicle? lol.

That challenge was tailor made for Chris.

Oh well, I'm okay with it, since Chris has been the one I've been rooting for the entire season.

I'm pretty sure they have everything set up as far as challenges go before the competition ever starts. Its not something you would leave to last minute decisions to work out what to shoot.
