Graduation from Sniper school just means you are qualified to participate in learning the trade. This is true of almost every school military or civilian.

I think George thought that there was a possibility he couldn't win. Instead of losing, he would rather go out on his own terms. Throwing it for his buddy allowed him to lose and still save face.

It wasn't about altruism, it was about George.

I still think George was disrespectful and mean. From the very beginning I knew that he was going to be very cocky/annoying. He seems very much like your typical "I'm better than everyone frat boy". I honestly think he missed both of those shots and played it off like he gave it to Chris. Just to protect his massive ego.

I would also be offended if I were a Marine because of the way he acted on the show. I'm sure that's now how the Marine Corp. wants one of their snipers to act, putting down people just because they aren't a part of the "group".

zundfolge, have you never heard of pjs? Im not sure of SNIPER as a title, but these guys are trained in advanced weaponry such as sniper rifles and actively engage in counter sniper objectives.
