A spotless beauty!

Is the PCC a total bust, or does it just need some help to get it running?

No it is a good gun, functions like it should, trigger isn't too bad and is a fun gun to shoot. I just didn't shoot it as much as my other guns and figured the trade for the Smith was a good swap. Have had the hots for a good Smith revolver for a while now and this one is in very nice condition.

I would have had some degree of guilt , on two levels , if I had been in your shoes , but not enough to break that deal.

Congratulations. I am envious.

He did his research on what the revolver was worth and what the Ruger PCC is worth and decided he wanted the Ruger more than the Smith. I offered a couple other guns for him to consider that are worth a bit more than the revolver but he wanted the carbine. He's happy and I'm happy. Thanks for the congratulations.

If it's factory nickle, they usually stamp an N on the cylinder and the frame under the grip.
My Model 15 is one of my favorite guns. I use grips like that, with a Tyler T grip, when it isn't wearing the targets you see here .. 20160905_174453.jpg

That's about the most pristine nickel finish I've ever seen on an older Smith. I'd have made that trade in a heartbeat!

Yeah, the P&R Combat Masterpiece is one sweet revolver ... Here's one of my 15s, with my only nickel (pic doesn't do the finish justice), a M-10 snubby ...
