I posted a thread a few weeks ago about trading my G19 for a Springfield XDM 5.25 competition. After shooting the XDM I decided to put a trigger kit in it.....I'm a bit of a trigger snob having shot rifle competitions at various times in my life. Since this isn't a carry gun and will be strictly for range and target use I wanted a substantially better trigger. The take up, over travel and reset were the areas that the Glock was better in, I just didn't care for how the trigger and trigger safety felt....well that and some ergonomic issues.
To make a long story a little shorter I decided on the Powder River Precision easy fit trigger kit. It took some minor fitting to adjust the over travel but other than that it was just a matter of dropping it in. All I can say is WOW! The difference is night and day. The take up, reset, over travel and trigger weight are fantastic. I was shooting 2" unrested groups @ 25 yards before I did the trigger....I can't wait to test it out and see what it can do now.
I guess I should reserve judgement until the final verdict is in and I actually shoot it with the new parts but from just the dry firing I've done it seems like it's going to be a winner.
