This was a 'Welfare Check'. I had one just two weeks ago because my doctor could not get me by phone ... The police were called because no one wants any part of my dogs. (TL:DR, I don't answer my phone .. leave a voice mail).

Everything was fine but the first thing I did was get between the police and my dogs and I was not holding a weapon so no one was threatening anyone else.

IMHO: This type of occurrence will increase if any RFLs are passed.

This is a horrible event but does not fall within the scope of THR unless there is some direct threat to the Second Amendment of which I am not aware. THR does not exist as a clearing house for all news stories involving a gun. This one is best left to the court system.
