Life has been good the last couple weeks...
First, my new Browning 1886 45-70 Saddle Ring Carbine finally made it to it's new home. What an awesome gun. It was made in 1992 and was still NIB when I got it. It's a sweet shooter. With Winchester factory 300 grain JHPs, the flip-up sight is dead on out to 100 yds in the down position. Now it's time to work up some handloads and take it hog hunting.
The second addition is a Winchester 94 (pre-64) 30-30 made in 1963. It's in 99% condition. Believe it or not, until I got this gun, I had five Winchester 94s and none of them were in 30-30 caliber. So of course I just had to have one! I picked up a box of the new Hornady Leverevolution ammo but haven't had time to get to the range with it. Hopefully this weekend.
