Mail carrier dropped off two packages today. One is a Beeman P2 the other is a HW 75- they are both HW 75's, the only real difference is the grip. From what I've read, the P2 can take most 1911 grips, the HW75 only takes the target style grip it comes with -schematic shows that the grip from is more of a grip stud.

From what I can gather, early on, there were two models of this pistol, the HW75 and the HW75M. It looks like the M was used to denote the Match grip where the regular 75 designation was for the 1911 style grip. The target style grip is the only one available now and it goes under the HW75 moniker. Beeman sold the HW75 as the Beeman P2, not certain how they sold the target grip model if at all.

These are single stroke pneumatic pistols, you press a lever to the left side of the hammer and the top half of the "slide" levers forward. The hammer is functional and must be cocked in order to shoot.

I used to have a Daisy 747, but sold it off for some dumb reason or other. I miss being able to do some basement league air pistol shooting and decided to get something nice. I remember a poster here talking about these pistols, saw these two used ones for a good price and went for it.
