I do hate to gloat, but after being unable to find one for my Security-Six on ebay and not wanting to spend around $30 plus a long wait, I called my local gunstore just this morning and asked if they by any chance had any T-grips. Once I made the yound guy understand what I was talking about, he looked around and said he had one: for a Ruger Security-Six. Price: $11.95.
Too bad to hear about the ongoing problems with Tyler; still a great product after all these years. Whenever I needed the most concealable grip set-up on my J frames, I always went with my Tyler T-Grip.
I have used Tyler T-grips, but finally found a source of scrap walnut and started making my own grips. My motivation was this Colt New Service in .45 Colt -- you really can't find after-market grips for this gun (other than reproductions of the originals.)
