I came across this article earlier today that discusses how the U.N. Arms Treaty could spell the end of reloading for all of us who do so. If the U.S. stops reloading, you could very well spell the end of shooting for many of us who can only afford to do so. Additionally, it would more than likely drive up demand for ammunition and cause a significant spike in the price of ammunition.

It may be a dream of the exalted one, but I would consider it more as lip service to mexico since this or the UN treaty requires ratification by the Senate and that's not very likely.

First it's old, second that 'threat' kinda lapsed, the UN working committee couldn't come to an agreement, it didn't get signed and it's back burnered for now, finally it would hurt ammo prices before it would hurt reloaders, as the external (other adhering to it) would kick in WAY before it could make it's way through the courts.

OH, and WND - they make their bucks off being chicken little. READ UP on these, this was discussed when it looked like the treaty might actually come together, it didn't.

no, never say that
Jimmy Carter happened....
something like that SHOULD never make it past Constitutional scrutiny, but never say never, not with this bunch of ...... in the whitehouse.

Always check the dates on stuff you're reposting. That's three years old news, and the treaty is already a dead letter.
