Anyone here use a UBG Belt? How are they, do they hold up?

Looking for a belt for a OWB holster and not quite sure what to get.

Want good, but as usual, cann't afford the best.

Leaning towards a leather belt, brown color.

I don't have any experience with UBG, but he seems to have a good reputation. I think you could buy with confidence.

A couple of very well respected belt makers. Both have a "ready to ship" line that you can get very quick.

If you just can afford leather, or want something different, the Wilderness Instructor belt is very good. I use the 5-stitch version.

Any of the leather holster makers would also be a good choice for a belt.

I don't have his belt, but my UBG Canute holster is very well made. I'd say better made than the Lobo Gun Leather and Simply Rugged holsters that I also have.

My belt is from The Beltman and is simply awesome.

Was going to go with the beltman, but was a few days out on production.

Talked to Don Hume. They had what I wanted in stock. It is on the way.:)

I praise Nate's ability to manufacture some fine pistol leathers, however, I have no dealings with his belts.

If they are as well built as his holsters you can buy with confidence. I personally use a Wilderness Tactical 1.75in 5 Stitch. It's durable, supports IWB and OWB perfectly, and is affordable. For 45.00 at my local "toy-store" it can't be beat! Does it look as casual as a leather belt? No but rarely to I carry with a tucked shirt.

I ordered one of Nate's 1.5" belts along with a holster and mag holder for my BHP not quite 3 years ago. I wear the belt almost everyday at work and of course when I strap on the holster and mag holder it performs quite well.
