Umarex Airguns?

There is also in the Legends brand by Umarex a Luger that has a blowback action with fully functional toggle and field strips like the original. It is more expensive of course, but is well worth it. You can get it from Pyramyd.com. They also have a Mauser 712 Broomhandle that fires both full and semi-auto. Both these CO2 BB pistols are full metal, weigh close to the originals and are very close copies. There is also a CO2 BB blowback replica of the 1911 under a different brand. All these have origins in Taiwan.

I do have the 1911 and posted a pic of it in another thread here with a 45 and a GSG 22. It is very true to the original and weighs about what an empty 45 weighs.

It is a very fun gun to shoot and great to practice with.

I have the Walther PPK. I looks exactly like the real deal except for the wing nut in the bottom of the frame for the Co2.

Yeah, the new airguns can be real foolers.
They are so much like the real thing, that even experienced gun people take a little while to realize they're not actually firearms.
The main problem is that they are so useful for practice and training that it's hard to stop with just one.

They are great for practice. During the height of the great ammo shortage I bought a laserlite to train with. Never really messed with it that much. Just did not click.

Then I bought a basic 1911 with the same size as the firearm. Now that was fun, fun to practice the draw, fun to pop cans. When the Tanfoglio came out I gave the first one away and went with that with the recoil. It does shoot slower and has a lower shot count for the co2 cartridge (some gas makes the action work on these guns and will reduce both the shot count and the FPS) but I have not looked back.

They also make some airsoft guns that have the same weight and feel but run on a rechargeable battery, I have been thinking about trying one of those, but as I have quite a few co2 air guns already having cartridges is really not an issue, but it is something to think about.

They really are great training aids, where a 22 top on your 1911 or AR was the way to go before now it is air guns, 22 is about the most difficult thing to find. These air guns are coming a long way. They are also real weapons, real things you can hunt with or expect true one hole groups with. I started shooting them about a year ago and have not bought a "powder burner" in quite some time.
