UN small arms treaty?

Ok so I'm hearing a lot of hullabaloo about this new treaty the UN is trying to pass with our govt. To basically do away with our second amendment rights, does anyone know anything of this yet? I'm trying to find a link to the news story, but am unsuccessful so far. If anyone has any feedback I think it be beneficial to us all, because if this is a real entity coming together then we all need to do something about it!!

And it's not new. A couple of treaties do exist, not ratified. Search "UN Treaty" and you can read all the other threads on it, but there's no reason to do it all again.
