Other than HP (Hirtenberger Patronen), I can't decipher what other letters/numbers mean. I am guessing 00/10 could be ammunition manufactured in 2010?

It's Hirtenberger EMB... Expansion Mono Block. As far as I know, it was made by Hirtenberger, and is now made by Fiocchi

From Municion.org:

Nasty little thing, kinda like old school Federal Hydra-shock, but is solid copper and has a much larger post:

And it made by Fiocchi:

More reading at this link, and it also includes the same headstamp that you have, shown near the bottom. Good luck.

I noticed that too. Boxer primer in a Berdan case???

That bullet is definitely interesting looking.
I don't think it is a Berdan case. I believe the two have different size primer pockets (not sure), but the Berdan anvil is built into the case, and I don't see that in the photo.

Well that is interesting. Going to have to see if I can find some to try out. These still in production?

Midway says they're "Discontinued", so I assume it's no longer available. A quick check of the FiocchiUSA website doesn't show it in their 2019 catalog.

Hope this helps.

Fred
