[US-Centric] Belt Feed = Illegal?

Noting that there is a ban on high-capacity magazines, does that also include belt-feed guns and under what circumstances are high-cap mags legal? Are only pre-ban or LEO high-cap mags allowed now? I have seen Colt uppers for this (belt-fed), as well as the Mac 10 conversions and was just wondering.....

The belt peices must have been made prior to sept 94 the the law though says that the companies to not have to mark the individual links.
