So in the interest of buying dumb unnecessary things for firearms what have you found? I found this article and thought it was a good base. For me it was a rapid fire adapter for a ruger 10/22. It mounted on the trigger guard and did increase the rate of fire (and malfunctions). Useless and thrown away eventually. Anyone else have anything else useless?

For what it's worth, mounting the "Glock pistol attachment for your AR-15 rifle" would turn the glock into an SBR... since it would have both a stock and a barrel less than 16"

The rail mount for a spare magazine on a glock would likely be considered a forward grip... AOW territory there

But, you know, whatever floats your boat. I think both of those are marginally (very, very marginally) less useful than this:

Good responses keep them coming,

On a more serious note, I find any of the various tools that are supposed to help bore sight your rifles to be useless. I've never seen how they could possibly save a single round of ammo or one minute of my time.
Definitely. A deprimed case does the same job better.

What about the 25 round sling for a shotgun?
What could be better than several pounds of ammo swinging around as you try to shoulder it?
Or shoot it for that matter? I see at least one every year at the Trap range.

Still waiting for the buttstock mounted K-cup maker.

For what a K-gun goes for, they should have a coffee maker in the stock. Kreighoff Kup™

Unless you're a "spook" a poacher or a "hitman" what is more useless than suppressor?
How long have you been an antigun advocate?:scrutiny:
I ask because that's the same pablum they spew in regards to silencers.:barf:
That you consider silencers or suppressors as only usable by spooks, poachers and hitmen tells everyone on the forum how ignorant you are to the legitimate usefulness of a silencer.

Not only will they help minimize damage to ones hearing, they are an awesome means of introducing new shooters to the sport with inducing flinch. That you don't see any value to using a silencer while hunting tells me you either don't hunt much or are limited in the game you do hunt.
Feral hogs are a menace to other game and easily can destroy crops, lawns or a golf course overnight. Using a firearm without a silencer? You'll get one before they scatter. Use an AR in .300Blackout with a 30round magazine and a silencer...…..you'll knock down several before they realize why their buddies keep dropping. Hunt only single predators? A silencer disguises the direction as well. A miss may even result in the varmint running TOWARD you.

Do you keep an AR in the house for protection? If so, you better ubnderstand what shooting an AR in 5.56 indoors will do to your hearing.
Don't have an AR? But use a handgun? Same benefit.

Useless?

In some European countries where guns are difficult to obtain, suppressors are sold over the counter. They're used at rifle ranges to preserve the hearing of everyone around so ear protection isn't so important.

I understand it's really considered ...."polite" to use suppressors in those countries.

In America, firearm ranges that existed for decades are being encroached on by growing communities. People buy homes blindly, next to ranges, unaware that people will be sighting in their deer rifles or handguns Saturdays at 9:00AM in the morning.
Irritated homeowners complain and thus, ranges wind up in danger of being shut down.
Wouldn't it be great if suppressors were easily obtainable? Ranges and new homeowners would get along soooooooooo much better if the noise could be abated somehow.

Does that work for you???:)

Polite pest control when neighbors might not be keen on you taking out varmints on your property.
Just because you're legal, that doesn't mean others are not gonna raise h*ll about it.

Also.............tinnitus really really sucks.

And it isn't just one tone or volume. Mines pretty bad now. Thankfully not pulsative.
But NSAIDs can kick up the volume to 2X and that means little to no sleep.

Its wonderful.
