using a dremel to clean those stubborn cylinders

I have scoured the earth for the easiest way to remove the hard carbon from inside the cylinder tubes. This is it: a short cleaning rod in a low speed hand drill. Use a NYLON bore brush but here's the kicker: get some of the green potscrubber scouring pads. Cut a small square patch maybe 0.4" on a side. Wrap it onto the bore brush and force it into the bristles. Force the brush/pad into the cylinder tube and position it in the dirty area. Spin the drill and it will come clean pretty quick.

I agree with Zeke. I had a lot of fouling in my Redhawk. I ran a brush in my drill and hit helped, but didn't eliminate the problem. So I went back and ran JB Bore paste through each chamber 4-5 times and that took care of it.
