Does anybody know a source for a USP Compact Tactical in .357 Sig? I can't seem to find them looking around online, havn't asked at any shops yet though. Are these still in production?

Anyone know the MSRP for that matter?

I'm not sure they ever made them, the USP .357 Compact was the only model in .357 to my knowledge. Check HKPro.com,they will know for sure.

Hey fellas, havn't been at home for a few days. Sorry for the delayed response.

This .357 sig caliber is 'interchangable' with a .40S&W, correct? I know there are independant barrels available as well. Since these seem to really be a rare bird, would it be possible to buy a regular USP compact in .40 cal, and buy a .357 sig barrel and swap them? I've gotten the impression the magazines will work with either, can anyone verify this as well?

This caliber is intriguing to me, and with both barrels would offer quite a bit of versatility to boot. If anyone could shed some light, I'd greatly appreciate any input.

I'll check back down here in the lobby at this hotel when I can.

Thanks again, hope someone catches this.

I have a Sig 229 with both
.357 and .40 barrels. The mags will work with either. My dealer gives 50% off the 2nd barrel with the purchase of the gun. MSRP on the bbl is $193.

Works great. I am thinking of getting the .22 conversion kit as well...

Yes.
All it would take to caliber change from .40S&W to .357SIG, is to switch barrels. The .40S&W magazine will work with .357SIG rounds.

H&K has discontinued the USP-357 Compact.
However, you can get the H&K P-2000 and P-2000SK in .357SIG.

Anyone making aftermarket barrels in .357 Sig for this or do you have to get them from HK? If from HK, are they still readily available?

Thanks

There's a nice looking USPc in .357 Sig over in the SigForum Classifieds.....though it's not a Tactical model.
