A friend of mine was burgled in Benjamin. (southern Utah county). A bunch of stuff was taken. Luckily some of it was very odd, so if you see anybody trying to sell some of this stuff let me know.
The oddest rifle of the bunch was a single shot Ballard rifle in .45 Long Colt. It is a cute little falling block looking rifle. Round barrel. Very rare. It is my understanding that there are only a handful of these in existence. So if you happen to see a .45 LC Ballard at your local pawn shop, get suspicious for me.
Also taken, a Winchester lever action shotgun. Several barreled rifle actions. Most of them in .308. Actions from Remington and others. A 300 win mag Ruger. Over and under Beretta barrels. A stand up compressor and a bench grinder.
Also a bunch of reloading componenets. The thing most likely to stand out from that are a huge bunch of 405 grain 45-70 bullets.
Sorry I can't be more specific. Those are all the details I have at this time. The robbery took place over the 4th of July weekend. I just found out about it tonight. The only thing that really stands out is the Ballard.
