VA raises concerns about gun registry with offer of free gun locks

I'm happy for you and you've been fortunate. Just Google, VA problems in Miami. Lots of problems.

I understand that, but I also understand that there is not a civilian hospital out there that does not have patient's out there complaining.

I'm only relating my own experiences. YMMV

My friend was in the Navy and heard about it. She told me and I looked it up and found images of the letter on line. They allow up to 4 and they only ask how many you want and where to ship them. How would they get them to you otherwise???

In Michigan, it's a legal requirement for FFLs to supply a gun lock at the time of purchase. They keep a large box behund the counter at my LGS just full of them. I've declined the last couple they offered. It's required that they offer and supply (even have to sign an affidavit to that effect) but there is no legal requirement for me to accept it.
