Just picked up a nice 30/30 from my neighbor, serial # 3039xxx . .mfg appears to be 1967, I'd say it's in 96% condition with the only strange thing being a missing buttplate and a pachmayer decellerator pad that's not fit to the stock. (the stock has not been rasped, refinished or anything)
What would you say this rifle is worth? Just curious. He says he thinks he can find the original buttplate but I figure even if he can't it's probably a plastic piece i can find at gunpartscorp.
