I really hate to ask this question as it can vary significantly, but I have not been able to find it online.

I have been given a very good condition left handed Savage 116 SS 300 Win Mag, Blind mag, non-accutrigger in a synthetic stock with a Burris FF2 3x9 scope. This was given to me to satisfy a debt that was owned. I do not shoot left handed and really cannot stand this caliber. I want to sell it without the scope, but my ability to search for a similar rifle has proven futile. I don't keep safe queens and would like to get rid of it.

What could I expect to sell it for? I have 150rnds of reloaded ammo and 300 once fired brass with dies. Any ideas? This is not a for sale thread as I anticipate selling it locally and want to avoid any shipping.

Thanks for the help.

Those sell for around $600 locally new. Here is one in 243

Being left handed will limit potential buyers considerably so it may take a while to find someone who wants it, but it should bring a little more when you do.

I'd ask somewhere between $450 and $500. Closer to $500 with the dies and brass. I wouldn't want someone elses reloads. I don't know how much you need to get for it to satisfy the dept and justify the trouble of selling. The scope sells for $200 new and is a great scope. Keeping that alone would be worth something to me. I've often found it is better for me to sell at a bargain price to move stuff quickly if I can break even rather than holding out for a bigger profit.
