VCDL Sues CSGV for Libel, 9/3/2021

Virginia Citizens Defense League filed suit against Coalition to Stop Gun Violence (CSGV) for libel after CSGV called VCDL a “Domestic Terror Organization” in a press release. Full statement and the lawsuit filing are at https://vcdl.org/mpage/VCDLSuesCSGVForLibel090321.

This may be an excellent application of anti-gunners' own technique of using lawsuits to tie them up in court and seek major money penalties through lawsuits. According to the VCDL article, CSGV must have their response to the court by September 18.

Well, hopefully justice will be done. I’m sure they demanded trial by jury to avoid a liberal judge from ignoring the law!

Good. It's about time the anti-gunners got a taste of their own medicine.

I hope VCDL wins. They've done a lot to fight the anti-gunners and their heart is clearly in it. They're doing God's work.

Fire fighters use "back burns" to stop the spread of a forest fire. This VCDLs version of a "back burn". I wish them well in their endeavor as we need to start some "fires" of our own and see how they like the "heat".

VCDL is suing CSGV for libel and Mr. Joel Kanter, the Chairman of the Board of CSGV, has been served the papers. We await CSGV’s initial response, which is due by September 18. Once we have the response, we will update you again.
