I have a Verona LX505 20 gauge shotgun (same model as the 501, 502, 503, 504) that I bought new when Galyan's sporting goods was clearing out all inventory right after the chain was purchased by Dick's (talk about ruining a good store, but that's another story). It was $437 out the door, which was a steal, and it's been a great little quail gun. Apparently, some solvent or some other corrosive liquid came in contact with the recoil pad and ruined it and I'm having trouble finding a replacement, other than grind-to-fit, which is probably what I'll have to go with, but I thought I would check here to see if anyone has one of these shotguns and if they have any recommendations. Pics of the recoil pad are attached. It's a HiViz Xcoil, but the dimensions don't seem to match the current HiViz Xcoil pads.

The 10111 Limbsaver classic came in, along with the new, Limbsaver Airlight 10807, which is the equivalent of the 10111. They will attach to the stock, however, it looked so bad that I'm sending them back. The top was about 1/8" short of the top of the stock and the bottom was a good 3/16" beyond the bottom of the stock. It looked so bad to me that I didn't bother to take a picture. I was skeptical that this would work to my satisfaction, but it was worth a try since the returns are free. Now I will order the grind-to-fit and get out the Dremel. :(
