I'm surprised by the limited penetration of that round. It could not make it through 3 gallon jugs of water. Seems that would come to less than 6" of 10% gelatin or about that in a human body. It would be interesting to see how a couple of layers of denim would effect the bullet.
It's hard to tell how far away you're sitting in that vid. Looked like maybe 6 feet.

i was about 10 feet max, yes in gel it only
penetrates
12 inches max
it was design that way not to penetrates more then a few drywall walls so you dont hit the neighbors house but the energy hydroshock release into the first water jug was intense

Thanks for the video, but, you might want to be a little more conscious of your trigger finger control.
Waving the gun around with a finger on the trigger had me cringing the whole video.

also not i was all alone not a soul for a mile and my finger was straight on the guard not on the trigger and
xd 40 has a hand grip safty u know

Yes, I am aware how an XD works. Not sure how that makes a difference as you were gripping it normally and disengaging the safety from what I could see.

Sure, starting at 40 you go on and off several times as you are wiggling around the gun, again at like 53. Again at like 1:23 when you are laying down it looks like you go off the guard a few times as you settle.
