No photo but here is the description- my friend recently died unexpectedly- he was a two tour vet , USMC. (Semper Fi, and Godspeed, Steve.) I saw a wood combo shoulderstock/holster in his belongings. It had a leather partial covering that had a magazine pocket (about the size of a single stack 7.62 or 9mm), and a leather flap that went over the hinged wooden lid that retained the pistol. A separate metal stud also needed to be depressed to unlock the lid. A hole was milled in the bottom of the stock about where the pistol butt would be. The thing was in immaculate condition, except for the plate that would engage the pistol, it looked milled off, (maybe for atf compliance?) Any idea what this would fit? Size about 5 1/2" x 15" (roughly)

very similar, but the hole in the stock was not part of the lid, it was fully surounded by the lid. And it was definitely a single stack mag pocket, not a HP double stack. And the thing had a leather bikini over it, sewn to have abn extra strap over the lid and to form a mag pocket.
