Vihtavuori N330 load data with 9 mm

There are few load data with N330 for 9x19 and 9x21 ammo.
In my very first trials, I've found with surprise that I have to use powder charges only slightly lighter than with VV N340.
I'd like to read your loads with this powder, especially with 124 grains and heavier bullets (lead, plated, FMJ).

I use the 1995 Vihtavuori manual for N330 and 9MM loads. I assume you have that. It shows slightly bigger charges than the current online Vihtavuori data does. My Speer # 13 manual does not have any, but the latest ones probably do.

N330 works great in 9MM.

1995 Vihtavuori book shows:

Max 5.5 Grs N330 with a jacketed 115 Gr bullet.

Max 5.3 Grs N330 with a jacketed 124 Gr bullet.

I have shot 5.5 with plated and 5.1 with jacketed and they shoot great.

These loads were safe in my guns with my load procedure. They are over Vihtavuri's current online data. Use at your own risk.

N-330 is good as it gets for 9MM. Too bad its so hard to find...

My Favorite powder for 9mm is VV320. I just found 3 lbs at my favorite little shop and scooped them up. I still have not tried VV330 for 9mm, though.

Well... I guess another 1 lb. can of powder in my stash won't hurt...I need to get some more Shooters Choice bore solvent so I'll pick up a bottle of VV330 as well. What the heck, I'm still developing for the 40 S&W so who knows...

I like N320 for light loads in 9MM & .38 Super. You will like N330. Very good stuff. N330 is a little picky about what it works well in, but 9MM is one of them.
