Vortex Strikefire at Cabela's for $99

Regular $169. I assume they're on clearance because the Strikefire II is out. I already have two of them and have been very happy with their performance. Went ahead and spent a $50 gift certificate from SCI and $55 in club visa points to get another for free.

What have they changed in the Strikefire II? I love the Strikefire except I have to take the batteries out when I put a gun with one in a case for transport -- too often the thing gets turned on from being knocked about in transport

If they haven't addressed this problem I could use another Strikfire or two at $99 each! but if they have I want the new ones.

Edit: Downside, I checked the website and it seems they only have the low mount, you generally want the high mount for the AR which is another $25 or so if you have to buy it separately.

That's what they fixed.

They took the power button off the side and now the power is turned on by the button that increases brightness. A much-needed improvement.
