Walther P-99

Hello all,
I have recently bought a walther p-22 and despite mixed reviews I have had great luck with it. I am trying to find out if the Walther P-99 is legal and available in california? Thanks for the input.

PS. please dont use this thread as a reason to bash one certain type of gun over another. It is a simple question that I am looking for specific answers, not "that gun sucks" or "your should be using this gun" It's just a question. Thanks

Yes, it's available and on my short list of purchases to make. I've heard nothing but good things about the P99. What caliber are you interested in?

I am not sure, but most likely the 9mm. That being said, I understand the new pps is also cool and that is strictly a 9mm. I am going to go to my favorite place today to have a look see. any thoughts on the pps? thanks

I have a P99 in 9mm and love it very much. I have about 2500 rounds through it and have no failures of any kind what so ever. I would not hesitate to trust this pistol with my life. My wife even enjoys shooting it, though she likes the P22 better. She does not like my 1911s at all.
