inspired by the thread on high end .22’s , i go to my LGS. In the rack are two Walther KKJ’s.

One that intrigues me has double set triggers. I’m a sucker for really nice triggers. It’s a sporter weight, not really bench rest which I would prefer

Could probably get it for +/- $1,000

Is this any kind of deal, and how good of accuracy could one give? I’m assuming this is an older rifle

I wouldn’t spend a grand on it if it’s not what you want.

In high school I shot 3-P smallbore with a Walther built for that purpose. It was lower grade club gun. Once I graduated to the anshutz I never touched the Walther again. It was probably as accurate as the anshutz but lacked the refined trigger.

Buy one cry once.

Dunno that the bench rest style should be a deal breaker. Guess I’m looking for accuracy. I already have a CZ will shoot .4’s with Match ammo. Maximum accuracy at the price point is the idea
