What is that cool-looking rifle just below the brass-knuckle abortion?

I believe it's a Charlton light machine-gun, a Kiwi conversion of a bolt-action Lee-Enfield to a light machine gun; a fellow named Huot did the same sort of thing, both feeding off of Bren magazines, but neither of them came to anything, because the tide of the war turned before they had to stoop to such depths :)

Cannonball888, is the center round broken or is he not to
have the rod?

Also, is your 1:06 pm post a mulie-gun? :D (could be from golf) ;)
I kinda remember my grandmother talking about them too.

I don't know what photo you are referring to in your first question and your second question (I don't have a post at 1:06 PM)

the center alien is missing the end of his rifle that sticks up in front of left eye like the others.

Giger was a well-known artist long before anyone heard the name Sigourney Weaver. He also did Emerson, Lake, and Palmer's Brain Salad Surgery LP cover.

He's a combat veteran ;).

japaneezy - is that the old Charter Arms AR-7?

bang_bang - The 6" was accurate as all get out on my DW .357 & but a bit long at times. I can't image shooting, yet alone carrying, anything more than 8" on it...

Roadkinglarry! J.M.Davis Gun Museum in Claremore? Most awesome gun museum in the world!

Sure looks like Davis to me!

I love that place--I first went there when I was 4 it kinda started my whole "addiction"

There is some great stuff there.

Well 3 made before 1970. The current curator has no real interest in representing anything made after J.M.'s death. It makes sense to me although there are a few more current weapons in the collection that have been recently donated.
